What to know before selling imported wine in Singapore
A liquor licence
Supplying liquor in Singapore, which includes selling and delivering it, requires a liquor licence under the Liquor Control (Supply and Consumption) Act 2015. Class 3A covers retail supply for consumption elsewhere and Class 4 wholesale supply; each premises needs its own licence, valid for up to one year.

A Customs Import Permit
To import goods into Singapore, a business registers for a Unique Entity Number, activates its Customs account and submits a Customs Import Permit through TradeNet, itself or through a declaring agent. Duties and GST are then paid on the conditions the permit states.

Registration with the Singapore Food Agency
Only traders licensed or registered with the Singapore Food Agency may import food for commercial sale, and every consignment needs an import permit through TradeNet. Food that requires inspection can be sold only once it has passed, and food that fails cannot be sold in Singapore.

Trading hours and the age of 18
Retail and wholesale liquor licences (Classes 3A, 3B and 4) allow supply from 7am to before 10:30pm. Liquor may not be supplied to anyone under 18, and a seller online must warn customers that buying liquor under 18 is an offence.
